Girly With A Pink Bow

This cake is for sweet Lily's mom, Julie. Lily has not made her arrival to this world yet, but I got the opportunity to provide "cake/cupcakes" for two of Julie's showers. They were expecting 100 at this one, so we did this cutesy cake and then had a side cake that was just two stacked half sheets for more pieces. I really think they had more than enough cake, but I haven't heard yet!

Bowling Together

This was a joint birthday for a brother/sister party! They had a bowling party and it was my job to "share" the cake with the decor! I hope they were pleased. Their grandma/mimi/whatever they call her is one of the most amazing people I know. I got to know her through catering when I had the cafe. The Lord blessed me with her friendship! She is a jewel and such a joy to work with/for! I pray the Lord continually pours out blessings on her!

Volleyball

A friend of ours is the head volleyball coach for a local team. She was having senior and parent night tonight and asked me to make the cakes. Each of the seniors had their own "volleyball" cake with their name and # on it. I made the volleyball out of white cake and covered it with fondant and just did indentions for the seams so it would be more "real" looking. The big cake is practically neopolitan...bottom layer chocolate, purple layer strawberry, and the top white. She needed to feed a lot of people!

Camp Out Cake

So a friend of mine had a camping party for her son's birthday. Isn't that the coolest idea...well even better is that she has t-shirts made for the party favor! So they all wore t-shirts last weekend that said Camp Anderson on them, and they made smores in the back yard! So fun!

Baby Pink with a Bow

A friend of mine asked me to do this one months ago for last weekend. We finalized the design and here it is! I was really excited with how the bow turned out. She loved it and that is all that matters! I am doing another one very similar this weekend.

Cheeseburger cake in paradise...

This is to celebrate my wonderful husband's birthday. My girls helped cut the pickles and tomatoes out of fondant, and I sliced the cheese out of fondant as well. He doesn't like mayo on his burgers, but I wanted to incorporate the white instead of more red (ketchup) like he likes his. Tomorrow he turns 31! Hope he likes his cake...it is a surprise!

A little birdy told me cake

This cake came straight from the invitation. Super cute invite for a sip and see for a new baby girl. A friend of mine asked me to do this cake for the party/shower. It was a fun cake and I was pleased with the results...I hope she was too! :)
