Snowflake Princess Cake
Not sure if you can tell by the picture, but there are lots of sparkles and lots of snowflakes on this icey blue cake for Princess Mai! She is precious and turned five yesterday! She is having a snowflake princess party tomorrow! We are good friends with her parents and her, her sister and my girls love to play together! Precious!
Say cheese...Camera Cake
This cake was for my sister's sister-in-law. Figure that out! Just kidding. Mallory lives two streets over, so it makes it convenient when my sister comes to visit. It was obviously her 30th birthday, so her mom ordered a cake! We did a curly headed little girl leaned against a large camera with a picture of "shoot....". Hope it looks like what it was supposed to! Mallory never gets "pink" because she has two boys, so I gave her some! She is a photographer that does excellent work... www.mallorykriegerphotography.com
Kettle Bell Cake
This was the first time I have ever had a request for a kettle bell. There is a first time for everything. I thought it was going to be harder than it was, but the only issue we had was the "gray" fondant turned purplish by the time I delivered it to her. It was for her cousin. And of course it actually weighed 35 pounds!

Pink Princess
I think this is the last of the pics from my vacation from blogging...sorry I had to do so many at once. This was a joint party for a fellow preschool teacher's girls. The theme was princess, so I did my new love zebra print with the standard dots and a crown...ALL in pink of course!! They were doing a bowling party...just glad I didn't have to try to do the bowling pins again!
Black and white...zebra cake and cookies
This Cake and these Cookies were for Jill's shower. She is a childhood friend of my husbands family. I got to help with her shower and was honored to be a part! My girls are going to be her flower girls in her January wedding! The crazy thing that happened to this cake was that it sat in the car while we were at church and the top pink border FADED! I was horrified! No one made a big deal out of it, so it was fine...and hopefully I have learned my lesson!?!? Once again a zebra cake...I love them now!
Zebra Cake
This cake was a first for several reasons. It was a new customer, always makes me nervous! It was also my first zebra cake! It really wasn't as hard as I thought it was going to be. Dying the fondant black went really quick and then I just made the crazy stripes. I wish I had done dots on the bottom layer of this 1st birthday cake as well...wasn't a fan of the pink stripes after the zebra was done! FUN!
In a Baby Carriage Cake
This cake made me nervous. It was for a new customer and I didn't know (at the time) how they even got my name! I ended up putting a border on the top of each layer as well, but had already taken my pictures. The carriage was fun to make! It was for a little boy, but could easily have been changed to pink for a girl! Loved the colors they chose.
